The members arrived slowly at around 10:00 am. I did an ice breaker session for the early half hour introducing the members to each other and explaining the motivation behind the entire event. After the brief ice breaker session, the members introduced themselves to each other and explained about their interests in learning Python.  I briefly explained the Pyladies Bangalore available here [2].
I had prepared a PowerPoint presentation that I used to explain my concepts throughout the event.
I explained briefly the concepts of Python datatypes, lists, tuples and then we broke for lunch at 12:30 pm. We ordered for Pizza from the Café coffee day.

We started again at 1:30 pm after the lunch.

In the afternoon, I covered the control loops, range, functions, classes and objects, Python sorting, file handling within Python and some Python utilities. I ended the session at 5:00 pm in the evening.

I still have the remainder of the workshop grant with me with which I plan to do another event provided Python Software Foundation, and Pyladies chapter supports me further like they have been supporting me so far.

I would like to thank Python Software Foundation, Pyladies chapter, Mr. Sunil Abraham from Center for Internet and Society, the security person from Center for Internet and Society, and all the participants who attended the event.  I may have missed people who may have contributed towards making this workshop happen, I thank all of them for their veiled support.

Thanks and Regards,
Annapoornima Koppad
